Truth.

The Truth, The Truth...  The Truth.
That old time saying;
The truth shall set you free,
I doubt this simple sentence arguably,
Certainly the "real"  truth is entangled,
Enveloped with layers of make - up,
Making the truth seem like a lie,
Karma is centrical,
The truth rises against the odds,
Even in the garden of lies,
A single truth; speaks aloud
Echoing words of sincerity afar,
But why do we tell a lie,
Soliloquizing...
Lies are for the weak,
Product of insecurity,
Self esteem deteriorating,
Our refusal to ingrain the "truth" as a principle,
This is why we tell a lie.
